Introduction to Sailing (The first step)

If you've never sailed or only have limited sailing experience then this is the first step in the learning process, conducted entirely onboard a yacht it offers on-water sailing experience. It provides the best way to enter the sport, with onboard instruction and training, you spend a whole day on the water learning the basics of safety, right of way, where a yacht will sail and where it will not and how to conduct yourself onboard a yacht with extensive course notes provided. Upon completion you will be awarded with a certificate.

Topics covered are:

The Yacht: Basic knowledge of terms and parts of the boat - Ropework - Getting underway - Rules of the road - Meteorology - Man overboard recovery - How a sailing yacht works - Clothing and equipment - Emergency equipment and precautions.


Cost $225 per person. Runs all day from 0930 until 1600 hours

To enroll either Email or call, payment is required to reserve your place and places will be limited to maximum of 5 persons per course.
