Melbourne Sailing School offers adults (minimum age 18 years) from all walks of life safe and fun learning the art of sailing. Many students take their new knowledge onto their own yacht, or join a yacht or sailing club. There are those who have gone on to compete in famous ocean races including the Sydney to Hobart Blue Water Classic. And of course lots of overseas visitors now sailing regularly as skippers or crew in their own countries. From the Basic Introduction the Adventure Grows and Grows...... Melbourne Sailing School was founded in 1978 and as such is the longest operating full time professional sailing school in Victoria. All our vessels are maintained to the highest possible safety standards and are most suitable for learning to all levels. Class sizes are kept small guaranteeing a high trainer - Instructor to student ratio. Courses are conducted on the beautiful and challenging Port Phillip Bay.
