NEW Courses are being planned for 2008 watch this space for news. .

A special Sea Safety and Survival course is being planned for January - February 2008 which will have a strong emphasis on safety for the cruising sailor, with further details on cruising overseas such as the Med or the Caribbean. Call the Office for more details

Mean time do not forget your vouchers for Christmas they make a great gift and you have 6 months in which to take them, enjoy the warm sailing months out on the waters of Port Philip.

To all of you who plan to sail over the Christmas period we wish you a safe and pleasant sail. Make sure that you plan your sailing trip carefully and enjoy it to the full. To those who are sailing either in the Sydney to Hobart and we wish those sailing aboard "Cougar II" all the very best in the race. And to those entered into the Melbourne to Hobart (via low head) race we also wish you well and safe sailing.

For our part we will travel to Queenscliff and enjoy the company of QCYC, for later in 2008 we will be sailing Bali to Hamilton Island and a good chance of sailing Melbourne to Vanuatu
